Nauru Airlines, the flag carrier of the Republic of Nauru, was founded on February 14, 1970 as “Air Nauru” and had formerly traded as Our Airline. It commenced its operations with an experimental service between Nauru and Brisbane, Australia using a Dassault Falcon 20 jet registered VH-BIZ, and started its regular scheduled services in January 1972. Effective August 1, 2014, the airline changed its name to Nauru Airlines which was announced on July 15, 2014.

The airline is headquartered at the Nauru International Airport, Yaren District, Nauru with its operations office in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Geoffrey “Geoff” Bowmaker is the CEO of Nauru Airlines.
As of March 2016, Nauru Airlines serves flights to nine various destinations within the region, and as of August 2016, has a fleet comprised of 6 Boeing 737-300 and 1 Boeing 737-300F. Nauru Airlines flies to the other Pacific islands and Australia.
